Driver/heavy driver

  • Understanding, disseminating and communicating all company and hotel policies and standard operating procedures to your colleagues is part of your role.
  • He inspects the vehicles assigned to him at the beginning and end of his work shift.
    Checks at the beginning of the shift are
    o Body damage inspection / mechanical inspection (fuel, water, oil, brakes, tire pressure, brake function check, direction indicator and emergency lights), parking inspection (normal and full lights) and cleanliness. Checks at the end of the shift are
    Cleanliness, fuel, water level Furthermore, obstacles and/or mechanical problems must be recorded in the vehicle log to inform the next user of any problems.
  • In the event of problems affecting the safety of the vehicle and its occupants, the vehicle shall be placed in an out-of-service condition and the cause shall be referred to the transportation supervisor or manager for appropriate action.
  • Maintains vehicle history up to date as per established policy.
  • Periodically inspects the surface under vehicles for leaks of water, oil, fuel, other liquids or vapors and reports obstructions to the supervisor or transportation manager.
  • Checks the level in the coolant tank and adds the necessary lubricant.
  • Make sure that all doors, trunk lid and hatchback doors are closed properly and that the locks are working properly.
  • Report incidents immediately to the transportation supervisor or manager and follow up by filling out the necessary forms prepared for this purpose.
  • Follows instructions regarding the recommended direction while driving to a specific destination.
  • Adheres to standard operating procedures governing the transportation department.
  • Familiar with fire, evacuation and first aid procedures.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time by his superiors.
