Nurse

Pediatrics/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit/Pediatric Oncology

  • Quality of patient care
  • Provide high-quality patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in accordance with clinical standards and relevant legislation.
  • Assess all patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications accurately and quickly, administer controlled medications and carry out physician orders.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
    Patient safety
  • Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies and procedures.
  • Report all near misses and adverse events to the patient, adhering to infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols.
  • Ensure that all emergency and other equipment is checked regularly and that defective or missing equipment is reported.
    Positive patient experiences
  • Effectively manage patient experience and satisfaction, and address complaints promptly.
  • Promote a tidy, clean and safe patient environment, ensuring that nurse calls and patient requests are met promptly.
  • Experience: At least two years in the pediatric intensive care unit.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing, BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Professional registration: Licensing with the competent health authority as a registered nurse.
  • Experience in Saudi Arabia is beneficial.
  • PACU, PICU and ER certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic Arabic and intermediate English.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards.
