Public Relations Freelance Employee – Goethe-Institutes

Through our programs, we promote intercultural dialogue and cultural participation, and we strengthen the development of civil society structures.The Goethe-Institut Saudi Arabia/German Cultural Center is seeking a dedicated freelance employee for its public relations work, starting January 15, 2026, and ending January 14, 2027.  The working hours will depend on the workload. 

Brief Description of Responsibilities:

• Proactive maintenance of the website and social media channels of the Goethe-Institut Saudi Arabia (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn)
• Communication of programs from all areas of the institute’s work
• Community management of the institute
• Support of the online platform, online courses and online placement tests
• Translation of texts from German/English into Arabic
• Creating graphics

Requirements profile:

• Detailed knowledge of the work content of all departments of the Goethe-Institut, especially the language department.
• Completed university of applied sciences or bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and skills
• Proven experience in public relations, including the use of social media
• Native-level Arabic and German language skills as well as good English skills
• Knowledge of the cultural region of North Africa/Middle East
• High social and communicative competence
• Willingness to be deployed flexibly
