Job Overview:
The Job role holder is responsible for an entry-level position that will assist in the company’s various auditing and compliance activities.
Job Description:
- Responsibility for completing assigned tasks on time.
- Being proficient in core activities and delivering in line with the engagement plan.
- Applying IAAS’s methodologies and demonstrating the global values & behavior when completing work and documenting conclusions.
- Demonstrating a quality service mindset in cultivating positive relationships with the auditees and gaining their confidence by identifying potential business process improvements.
- Build an understanding of in-scope audit area to assist in the development of auditees relationships.
- Demonstrating a continuous learning mindset – applying knowledge gained from professional certification onto work on the job and sharing knowledge with other team members.
Qualification and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, CIA is preferred
- Relevant training related to internal audit, or equivalent credentials is preferred.
- Two to three years of accounting and audit experience highly preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications used in the office.
- Well versed in MS office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP) and standards.
- Ability to understand financial records.
- Ability to review company documentation to complete audits promptly and proficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to complete work within a specified time frame.
- Ability to research various company documents and budgets to identify necessary information for specific audits.
