About the job:

The ideal candidate will will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates for reviewing progress and work flow, discussing their suggestions and taking suitable actions accordingly.
• Preparing periodic reports with respect to the activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review.
• Specifying manpower requirements according to the recruitment and selection system and as per the human resources planning practices at the company.
• Identifying training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of the training courses in coordination with the concerned employees in the HR & Admin Department.
• Following‐up employee affairs including vacations, leaves …etc.
• Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices at the company.
• Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position in case of absence or whenever the need arises.
• Setting the budget for the department as overall and organizational entities under supervision in particular with the participation of the organizational entities under supervision to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review.
• Managing and executing plans for development and increasing productivity for the department and supervising setting these plans for each of the organizational entities under supervision.
• Assisting controlling the financial performance of the department and keeping it within the set budget.
• Assisting controlling the technical performance of the department and setting Key Performance Indicators for monitoring the performance of the organizational entities under supervision.
• ssuing regulations, technical and administrative decisions for achieving plans and programs which complies with the approved authorities and responsibilities.
• Overall responsibility for all Quality Assurance activities in the site.
• Evaluate, update and give direction to quality policies/strategies of the company.
• Report to higher management on all quality related issues.
• Be aware of current regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in line with company’s long-term strategies.
• Manage & control all resources of QA department to ensure effective implementation of QA systems.
• Develop/implement specific activities to give effect to quality strategies/policies.
• Coordinate with QA staff to ensure timely completion of set targets.
• Human resource development and team building in QA department.
• Performance evaluation of QA staff.
• Manage all administrative issues related to QA.

Qualifications:

• University Degree in Engineering or any related field, A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in supervising or managing quality assurance teams.
• Proficiency in quality management systems.
• Minimum of (12) years of experience in a similar field.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
