MESC Specialized Cables is the manufacturer of industrial, Instrumentation and processcontrol cables in addition to many other types of cables that are manufactured to international standards tested and certified by worldwide prestigious institutions. It is an ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certified for all its activities right from the selection of raw material suppliers, schedule planning, production, testing up to the delivery of the cables.

Purpose

  • To maximize the generation of profitable sales of all products across the Commercial market while delivering the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction in a cost effective manner.

Strategic Importance

  • Improving customer service and loyalty by following up on orders and visiting customers to understand their specific needs and support the order process.
  • Actively analyzing detailed information about competitor’s propositions for certain projects identifying key needs such as pricing and delivery.
  • Improving cash flow for the Area by monitoring customer arrears and chasing outstanding payments.
  • Improving ways to position MESC strongly as a supplier of choice within a highly competitive marketplace by ‘selling’ its proposition on value and service.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining relationship with client.
  • To achieve sales targets and win new business by providing accurate and concise technical assistance and justifications of why customers should use MESC instead of its competitors
  • To increase lead to order penetration rate by responding to enquiries quickly and professionally, visiting customers on site and resolving detailed specification issues and project requirements.
  • To achieve sales targets set by actively making own first appointments from personal sales list (provided by Sales Distribution Manager)).
  • To identify new opportunities for sales growth by continually researching market sector news and identifying emerging product requirements.
  • To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and increased loyalty by arranging prompt technical and expert support and advice throughout the sales cycle, helping to identify the most cost-effective solutions, ensuring on time delivery and providing prompt on-site support to resolve technical issues and difficulties both pre and post-sale.
  • To provide accurate lead conversion information to senior management team by updating the ‘won and lost’ report every week.
  • To minimize the amount of customers in arrears by actively following up with their accounts payable department.
  • To speed up the quotation/ proposal process by personally signing off quotations up to certain agreed limit.

Qualification & Experience Prerequisites

  • Minimum Educational Level: Bachelor degree or Diploma
  • Minimum Sales experience: 3 years for Degree; 5 years for Diploma
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
